Inverter based Welding Machines

These machines employ resonant high frequency IGBT inverter technology. Due to soft switching scheme, these machines are very rugged and efficient. Currently 200A model in single-phase, and 200A, 250A, 400A, 500A, 600A models in 3 phases are available. All these models are available for manual metal arc welding (MMAW), tungsten insulated gas (TIG) welding, and metal gas insulated (MIG) welding processes. All the TIG machines have built in high frequency igniter circuit for non contact arc initiation. All TIG and MIG welding machines can work as MMAW machines with a flip of the toggle switch situated on the front panel All these welding machines have special feature to shut down the internal electronic circuit when machine is kept idle, this feature enhances the life time of machines.

All single phase machines are protected to withstand accidental 2-phase (415V ac) connection at the input. In the event of such accidental connection, an alarm is sounded and the internal electronics is shut off. All 3-Phase machines can work on 2 phases 70% of their maximum current ratings.
